I just got back from visiting some relatives-by-choice at their lake house and I've just started going to a summer program run by an arts college meant for high schoolers. I'm taking the cartooning class so I'm learning all about how to make comics and a little bit of the history of comics as well.
It's pretty cool. We have to create a 10 page comic by the end of basically 2 and a half weeks. I've already thought mine out and I'm already working on the thumbnails. The instructors gave us deadlines and homework but it's all still fun so it's just fine. The only problem I have is I don't know if I can fit my whole idea into just 10 pages..www
It should be fine though since I'm going to talk about it with my instructor on Friday aha
Besides the course, all the students seem really cool too. They all seem really nice and everyone is so talented. I hope I get to make some good friends through this www
Anyway, this should keep me busy until early August. I'm thinking that I should continue my comic even after I finish the first 10 pages...my teacher did say that it was allowed to be a "to be continued" story so I think if people are interested, I'll make it into a webcomic aha
